Français : Piétons sur un trottoir le long de larges routes asphaltées pavées avec quelques voitures et avec des réverbères modernes. Au premier plan, un pick-up Toyota en mouvement. A gauche : une Lada blanche (voiture russe) ou Fiat et un cycliste. Palmiers et autres arbres. Au milieu la Grande Mosquée aux cinq tours, construite au XXe siècle. Yamoussoukro était la ville natale du président Félix Houphouët-Boigny, et prévue comme la nouvelle capitale de la Côte d'Ivoire, dont elle est devenue officielle en 1983. English: Pedestrians on a sidewalk along wide paved asphalt roads with a few cars and with modern high street lamps. In the foreground a moving Toyota pick-up. Left: a white Lada (Russian car) or Fiat and a cyclist. Palm and other trees. In the middle the Grande Mosquée (Great Mosque) with five towers, built in the twentieth century. Yamoussoukro was the birthplace of then President Felix Houphouët-Boigny, and planned as the new capital of the Ivory Coast, which it became official in 1983. Nederlands: Voetgangers op een stoep langs breed aangelegde asfaltwegen met een paar auto's en met moderne hoge straatlantarens. Op de voorgrond een rijdende Toyota pick-up. Links: een witte Lada (Russische auto) of Fiat en een fietser. Palm- en andere bomen. In het midden de Grande Mosquée (Grote Moskee) met vijf torens, gebouwd in de twintigste eeuw. Yamoussoukro was de geboorteplaats van de toenmalige president Felix Houphouët-Boigny, en gepland als nieuwe hoofdstad van Ivoorkust, wat het in 1983 officieel is geworden.
