Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde am 3. September 1974 mit Bescheid der Tiroler Landesregierung verliehen. Das Wappen weist auf die heilige Barbara hin, die als Schutzpatronin der Soldaten und Bergleute in der Barbara-Kapelle zu Hochfilzen verehrt wird.
English: The tower and the sword remember on the patron saint of the soldiers and mineworkers, Saint Barbara.
