Deutsch: Die im Gemeindegebiet liegende Burg Hörtenberg war durch Jahrhunderte Sitz des gleichnahmigen Gerichts. Als eine der ersten nachweisbaren Richter amtierten auf Burg Hörtenberg um 1300 die Herren von Eben. Daher wurde deren Wappenzeichen, das Dreizackeisen, in das Gemeindewappen übernommen. Die Zinnen versinnbildlichen die Burg.
