Description
English: Flint awl, L-shaped in plan and j-shaped in profile. The distal tip has been retouched bifacially. On the dorsal side the left margin has been retouched and the proximal end snapped. The right margin is sharp edged. It is dark brown in colour with a secondary non-beach cortex of dark beige.

Bond (2004) illustrates a similar example on page 144, Fig. 5.130, No. F.161 which is dated to the Neolithic period.
