Summary[edit]

Description

Butterflies are my new interest and if I see something interest, am happy to spend time to get some good shots. This is a Blue tiger, similar to its other cousin, the common tiger.

I chased it for a short distance trying to get a good shot and grabbed a few shots while on this flower. Only later during review in the laptop did I see the little fly on the bird and they seemed to share the sweetness of the flower! What a lovely surprise!

Did you know that most butterflies are poisonous to birds? There are some that are not, but many are. The few that are not, mimic the poisonous ones - a form of mimicry called the Batesian Mimicry. It is an interested read!

Thanks in advance for your views and / or feedback. Much appreciated.
