English: A Dutch flagship before a light breeze On the left is a port bow view of a flagship before a light breeze with a flag at the main and pendant at the fore. In these details it bears a comparison with the principal vessel in another drawing of around the same date, PAE5225, and may have been made as part of the same compositional experiment. Other ships appear in the distance, including a stern view of another battleship - the rear-admiral of the same squadron. |
