Description |
English: A Post Medieval cast copper alloy double looped buckle dating from 1550-1650 AD. The buckle has moulded knops on either end of the integral strap bar as well as in the centre of the frames. These knops are moulded in a trefoil shape. the buckle frame is 'D' shaped in section and appears to have been silvered. The buckle i 51.7mm long, 26.6mm wide, 2.1mm thick and weighs 7.2 grams. |
