Title
A Post Medieval copper alloy pipe tamper (17th century). LON-3E0CF6
Description
English: A Post Medieval copper alloy pipe tamper (17th century). This pipe tamper has been decoratively cast to form a pair of bellows. The point of the bellows has been slightly expanded to act as the tamper. Above the point the bellows curve out to form the boards and then the solid conical handles. The bellows are depicted by grooves between the two boards. There is some damage to the handles - they have been slightly bent together and one has cracked. File marks are visible on each of the boards.

Dimensions: Diameter: 7.23mm; length: 53.65mm; width: 12.92mm; thickness: 11.67mm; weight: 21.55g.
