Title
A cast copper alloy Post Medieval crotal bell
Description
English: An incomplete cast copper alloy Post Medieval to Modern (ca. 1750-1900) crotal bell. It is only approximately one third of the entire bell. The bell is a one piece cast bell, with a girth rib around the centre, and holes visible in each hemisphere (one visible in the upper, and two in the lower). The lower hemisphere is decorated with the sunburst style. The bell was tinned. Barring the old breaks, the bell is in good condition with most of the tinning still visible on the outer surface; there are small light green copper alloy corrosion patches visible however. It measures 30.30 mm L x 25.75 mm W x 2.53 mm TH and weighs 13.34 g.
