A cast copper alloy buckle.
Description
English: An undecorated cast copper alloy D-shaped single looped buckle of medieval date. Single looped buckles were the most common types during the 13th and 14th centuries but were gradually replaced by double looped buckles from the 15th century. The pin is missing. Length: 22mm, width: 20mm, weight: 4.4g.
