Title |
A cast lead alloy unidentified artefact, possibly dating to the late medieval/ post Medieval period. |
||
Description |
English: A cast lead alloy unidentifed artfact, possibly dating to the late Medieval/ post Medieval period (length: 30.6mm; width: 17.8mm; thickness: 5.1mm; weight: 7.38g). At one end, the artefact has a curved/ crescent ribbed terminal, and tapers to a rounded point at the other end. On one side only, there seems to be decoration. Around the edges, there appears to be a hashed design with probable curled foliage in the centre. There is no evidence of attachments or fitting, but there is a small hole on the surface illustrating that the artefact is hollow. This unidentifed object is worn and in a poor condition. |
