Description
English: Fleuron from book:
A catalogue of the genuine and curious collection of prints, and books of prints, of John Ratcliffe, Esq; Late of Bermondsey, deceased, chiefly consisting of Scarce and Valuable Portraits of illustrious Persons, from Titian, Vandyke, Rubens, and other great Masters, and several fine original Prints by Vischer, Suyderhoof, Sourman, Hollar, &c. Which will be Sold by Auction, By Mr. Christie, At his Great Room, the Royal Academy, Pall Mall, On Saturday, March 23, 1776, And the Two following Evenings (sunday expected). To be viewed on Thursday and Friday, the 21st and 22d Instant, and to the Sale, which will begin each Evening at Six O'Clock. - Catalogues may be then had.
