Obverse: IN PVDDING LANE = a cross

Reverse: [] = Shield with possibly dyers company arms

Dimensions: diameter: 15.06mm; thickness: 2.81mm; weight: 2.56g.

This token is similar in form to the Copper alloy trade tokens which were first struck in 1648. In 1656 half penny tokens were introduced. 1674 by Royal decree production of trade tokens ceased. Pers comm Verity Anthony
