Description
English: A complete copper alloy Post Medieval hooked tag, Read Class E (Read 2008:99 no.370) dating from AD 1500-1600. The hooked tag has a circular plate and integral, trapezoidal lug. The plate has moulded relief and openwork decoration consisting of an equal-armed cross with a central pellet within a liner circle. The tag has a beaded and engrailed edge. The tag has a dark brown patina.
