A complete medieval silver annular brooch dating from the late 13th to early 14th century 1280 to 1320 AD.
Description
English: A medieval silver annular brooch dating from the late 13th to early 14th century 1280 to 1320 AD. Circular sectioned frame, now slightly distorted, with four equally spaced and separately made knops each of which encloses the frame that are undecorated and the bracelet is worn smooth over much of the surface. There are two smaller knops that surround the shank of the pin next to the loop. There is a setting for the pin which is now missing and wear on the frame from the pin. The diameter is 37mm and the weight 3.84g. Similar to NMS-27A577, NMS-ADAAF6, NMS-19C764 and NMS-D2A387 on the database.

There are also similar to examples in Egan and Pritchard (2002, fig. 163 no. 1330 and 1333
