| Description |
English: There is a large crowd of people gathered outside a Plunket room. There is a lady standing in front of the crowd, holding papers. There is a large clock that is attached to the building. There are predominently women seated in the crowd. The people are dressed in formal attire. There are a few men seated behind the woman who appears to be presenting a speech to the crowd. "Ladies Rest Room" is visible on the windows of the building. There is a plaque that is attached to the building near the entrance that reads "ERECTED BY THE RESIDENTS OF THE DISTRICT AND DEDICATED TO THE PIONEERS 1938". This is possibly an opening of a new Plunket room in Wellsford. |
