English: A great grandstand. View towards The Tower, taken from a sunken footpath > 989893 which skirts the edge of the woodland, emerging on Blickling Road. The 2nd Earl of Buckinghamshire (of Blickling Hall) had the Gothic Tower built in the 1770s as a grandstand from which to watch horse-racing in Blickling Park. It is has since been converted into a private residence. |
