Français : Filasse bactérienne (peut-être avec résidus de pâte à papier) tapissant le fond la rivière Aa (ici à Blendecques, dans le Pas de calais, Nord de la France, en aval de plusieurs rejets industriels papetiers et urbains mal épurés, phénomène constant dans les années 1980, jusqu'au au début des années 1990, qui s'est réglé avec la mise en place de plusieurs stations d'épuration plus performantes, avec l'Aide de l'Agence de l'eau Artois Picardie. Ce type de bactérie est souvent indicatrice d'une pollution grave et chronique par des papeteries ou abattoirs rejetant des effluents pas ou mal épurées.
