English: عبدالله جوادی آملی (زادهٔ ۱۳۱۲، آمل)، فقیه، مفسر قرآن و مدرس حوزه علمیه قم و از مراجع تقلید شیعه ایرانی است.
وی سابقه عضویت مجلس خبرگان قانون اساسی، جامعه مدرسین حوزه علمیه قم، مجلس خبرگان رهبری، شورای عالی قضایی را داشته و سالها یکی از امامان جمعه موقت قم بوده است.
العربية: آية الله الشيخ عبد الله الجوادي الآملي (1932 -..) فيلسوف، مفسر وعالم دين إسلامي و مرجع شيعي، مؤسس مؤسسة الإسراء للبحوث في مدينة قم الإيرانية، وأحد أبرز علماء الدين الإيرانيين وهو من تلامذة المفسر والفيلسوف الإسلامي الكبير محمد حسين الطباطبائي وهو من أشهر المفسرين والفلاسفة الشيعة في الوقت الراهن. له عدة مؤلفات منها: تسنيم في تفسير القرآن, (معارف القرآن من خلال الحواميم السبع ), (نظرية المعرفة في القرآن الكريم), (تفسير سورة إبراهيم), (العقيدة من خلال الفطرة في القرآن الكريم), (خمس رسائل), (اسرار الصلاة), (جمال المرأة وجلالها), (الحكمة عند الإمام علي في نهجه)
English: Grand Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi-Amoli is an Iranian Twelver Shi'a Marja. He is a conservative Iranian politician and one of the prominent Islamic scholars of the Hawza in Qom. The official website for his scientific foundation, Isra, describes him as a well-known, outstanding thinker in various fields of Islamic sciences and a distinguished figure in exegesis, jurisprudence, philosophy and mysticism. It is further states that his ideas and views have been reinforcing the Islamic Republic of Iran since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, and that "his strategic and enlightening guidance" has been "extremely constructive" during the past three decades
