English: The European Bee eater (male) provides food for the female in order to have her permission to mating later on.
This foto was taken in one of the few days off that I have from work. I found this spot with a few of them, so I decided to provide them a branch in order for them to perch. Just a few minutes after a couple landed on the branch, which providid me this fotos and inclusive a vídeo from them mating. Reserva Natural do Estuário do Sado, PortugalPortuguês: Foto tirada num dos poucos dias em que tenho tempo para fotografar aves, pois as folgas no trabalho não são muitas.
Encontrei um sítio em que estavam alguns abelharucos e decidi montar um ramo como forma de eles pousarem, o que acabou por acontecer ao fim de poucos minutos proporcionando algumas fotos muito boas assim como alguns vídeos, um deles captando até o acasalamento. Na foto podemos observar um casal de abelharucos em que o macho trás uma oferenda á fêmea, depois de algumas ofertas ela estará disponível para acasalamento.
