Français : "VISITEURS En pénétrant sur ces lieux, souvenez-vous des sacrifices des soldats polonais et canadiens tombés sur ce sol les 19, 20, 21 et 22 août 1944 pour la libération de la France. En de sanglants et victorieux combats, les armées alliées assurèrent la fermeture de la poche de Falaise-Chambois où la 7e armée allemande encerclée subit une défaite totale dans la vallée de la Dives. Ce coup de masse final abattit la puissance allemande et fut l'élément décisif de la victoire de la guerre 1939-1945."
