Nederlands: True Price lanceert als eerste een algemene richtlijn om sociale en milieu kosten en baten van producten en organisaties te berekenen stelt Adrian de Groot Ruiz, Executive Director True Price.
Op basis van deze richtlijn kan op een systematische manier berekend worden wat de kosten zijn van watervervuiling bij de aanleg van een weg in Nederland, of kosten door onderbetaling voor bloemen uit Kenia. Het doel is juist dat bedrijven hun echte prijs verminderen, door innovaties als duurzame wegen en goed betaalde bloemen die per schip worden vervoerd. Bedrijven als AkzoNobel, BAM en Tony’s Chocolonely passen de methoden die de richtlijn omschrijft al toe. |
