Description
English: Agemaki a decorative tassel used on the helmet (kabuto) and chest armor (dou) of Japanese (samurai) armor. Agemaki also serve as an attachment point for other armor items such as the sode. The Musée du Quai Branly, Paris France, the collection of samurai armor from The Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum, Dallas (2011).
