The final two airliners on the hangar line at Pinal were this odd couple. Between the buildings is an unmarked A340 known to be CC-CQE. This is relatively young, having only first flown in 2001. It has always flown as CC-CQE with LAN Airlines (initially named LAN Chile ) and still wears their basic scheme. c/n 442. In the foreground is MD-83 'N619SC' in the colours of GMG Airlines. This was built in 1990 for Midwest Airlines as N905ML. It joined Reno Air as N832RA in 1992, an then became part of American Airlines, along with the rest of the fleet. In 2004 it joined Spirit as N835NK before it's final move, to GMG Airlines as S2-ADP, in 2008. It has been stored since 2012. c/n 53044, l/n 1776. Pinal Air Park, Marana. Arizona, USA. 09-2-2014 |
