Albert Bartholdi, 73, Passaic Author, Dies. Albert Bartholdi, 73, formerly of 272 Broadway, Passaic, died Tuesday in Westchester Hospital, Mt. Kisco, New York. He was a native of Switzerland and came to this country more than 40 years ago. He was the author of "Prominent Americans of Swiss Origin", He some broadcasting for the Voice America in 1947 on life in America, beamed to the Swiss people. He was a director of the Swiss American Historical Society and claimed to be a descendant of Frederick A. Bartholdi, sculptor, who designed the Statue, of Liberty. He had here years ago to represent his father's embroidery company in Passaic.
