Summary[edit]
DescriptionAlberta 1929 license plate - Number 100-335.jpg |
English: This plate is the standard 1929 color scheme of black on orange. This plate with a six digit number may be the only six digit Alberta 1929 passenger plate in existence. Registrations for Alberta passenger plates just creeped over the 100,000 mark in 1929 and with the coming of the Great Depression resulted in declining registrations in 1930 and until after World War II six digit passenger registrations would not reappear until 1947. Also notice the thin "1" to sqeeze into the registration number. |
