| Description | Verdadeiro ex-líbris de Lagoa, o Algar Seco é um anfiteatro natural palco de um cenário quase selvático e um dos locais mais aprazíveis de toda a costa algarvia. A erosão terrestre e as investidas do mar moldaram as rochas calcárias em formas graciosas. Descendo os degraus pode-se apreciar de perto, embalados pelos sussurros das ondas, grutas marinhas e recantos onde a natureza fez o que o homem pouco conseguiu destruir. As rochas formam “porches”, autênticas varandas e janelas românticas sobre o mar, como A Boneca, de onde se sente a leve brisa que dele sopra. Este é um sítio altamente recomendado para as gentes que visitam Carvoeiro, os amantes da fotografia, e não só. O passadiço em madeira com cerca de 570m de comprimento e zonas de descanso que daqui parte requalificou o troço costeiro até ao Forte e Capela de N. Sra. da Encarnação. Se ainda não o percorreu, convidamo-lo a fazê-lo.
