Een met lauwerkrans omgeven portret van Maurits, prins van Oranje geflankeerd door twee vrouwelijke personificaties. Links in een nis de personificatie van de kerk, rechts die van de politiek, in keizerelijke kleren met zwaard en rijksappel. Daaromheen vier personificaties van Europa, Azië, Amerika en Afrika. Onder de titel een portret van Emanuel van Meteren op 76-jarige leeftijd. Bovenaan en onderaan een rij met vijf afbeeldingen van koningen en keizers.
