Español: Altar de la Magdalena de la catedral de Sevilla, (España). Es un retablo totalmente pictórico y compuesto por once pinturas, que se adapta a la forma del arcosolio en el que se encuentra. Algunos autores afirman que fue ejecutado por un artista perteneciente a la escuela de Alejo Fernández. En el cuerpo principal están representados La Aparición de Jesús resucitado a María Magdalena y, sobre ella, la Anunciación. En los laterales vemos a Santa Catalina con Santa Bárbara y San Andrés, Santiago apóstol, San Pedro y San Pablo. En el banco aparecen el donante, Pedro García de Villadiego con San Benito Abad y Catalina Rodríguez con San Francisco de Asís. |
