Italiano: "L'identificazione della fanciulla con Pellegrina Buonaventuri Bentivoglio - figlia di primo letto di Bianca Cappello e sposa nel 1577 di Ulisse Bentivoglio - risale probabilmente al XIX secolo, ma non corrisponde alle effigi familiari di Bianca. Nell'Inventario della Villa del Poggio Imperiale del 1860-1861, il dipinto porta il numero 790 (vecchio numero 893), ed è registrato come busto di Bianca Cappello. La proposta può forse originare da una certa somiglianza con la donna in questione"
