XVII) "Si tratta certamente di una nobildonna o di una principessa della casa regnante del Ducato di Parma, ma il riconoscimento iconografico non è certo. Nell'inventario delle suppellettili di S. Giuseppe si dice che in una stanza della canonica c'è un "quadro ad olio con cornice antica, raffigurante la figlia del fondatore di San Giuseppe", dunque una Acerbi. Santangelo sarebbe più propenso a riconoscervi una principessa e, nella fattispecie, Elisabetta Farnese, mentre il Godi afferma che si tratta del ritratto di Margherita Violante di Savoia, prima moglie di Ranuccio II, morta nel 1664, anno entro il quale è possibile datare anche la cornice" |
