Description
English: An Iron Age plated gold stater of the Southern Region / Regini and Atrebates, struck for Commius, dating to the period c.50-25 BC, 'Commius E-Type'. Obverse: Wreath design with two hidden faces. Reverse: Horse right, wheel below, E symbol above, [CO]MMIOS below and front. Cf. ABC, p. 66, no. 1025; VA 352-1.
