Summary

[edit]
Description
English:
~Angel drinking fountain (local address: Drunken Angel) by Éva Varga sculptor and István Szoboszlai (1983 bronze statue) Both title is misleading this is not an angel figure but a young adult woman? or adolescent girl? figure holding (showing) mace-like stick in her hand, on the back, the shorter end of the long-swinging stola associates the location of the wings. So she is not an angel, although stepping into nowhere with one foot is meant to convey some angelic levitation. The five spout fountains themselves were designed by the sculptor. - At the east end of Andrássy Road, Downtown, Békéscsaba, Békés County, Hungary.
Magyar:
Angyalos ivókút (helyi cím:Részeges angyal) /Felállítás 1983, Varga Éva, Szoboszlai István (építész, közreműködő), bronz szobor, mészkő medence/[1] buzogányszerűséget tartó leányalak a hátán a hosszan lengő stóla rövidebb vége a szárnyak helyét asszociálja.
