Anglo-Saxon hooked tag, front
Description
English: Small copper alloy Anglo-Saxon dress hook, probably dating to the 10th century. The hooked tag is circular and flat with a single central perforation. Around the central hole there are concentric ring grooves for decoration on the front surface. The hook tapers to a point and curves over at the very tip. The object weighs 0.38g and measures 18.89mm in length, 11.7mm in width and 3.97mm in thickness.
