Description |
English: Copper alloy Borre style flat disc brooch. The face has a central circular hollow. Around this is a lozenge shape with double-ribbon ends that extend and curl round in a Borre knot motif. This type of Anglo-Scandinavian brooch was mass produced and is more common in East Anglia. The pin lug and catchplate are present on the reverse. The pin is missing. |
