Summary
[edit]DescriptionAnn Aitken b 1823.jpg |
English: Copy of birth registry entry of Ann Aitken born 18 November 1823 in Kilmaurs, East Ayrshire, Scotland, who passed away on 9 November 1891, in Girvan. Ann married John Nelson (born 1 September 1832 in Dunlop – see 'Nelson Family Tree') in Colmonell on 17 September 1878 and they had six children, five sons and one daughter. "Annie" and John, who passed away on 30 April 1893, are both buried in the Doune Cemetery in Girvan (see Gravestone of Anne & John Nelson, probably created by son Alexander who was a stonemason). The Scotch Mist Gallery contains photographs of historic buildings, monuments, memorials and people. |
