Notes A dipper in the form of Russian kovsh could be produced as luxury gift. It was used for taking up mead or wine out of a barrel or for the liturgical drinking of holy water. The hold is in the form of a dragon, the edge in gold is adorned with scenes of hunting. Hunters dressed according to contmporary Russian fashion.
