Description
English: An incomplete cast copper alloy ansate, or equal-ended, brooch of middle Saxon date. The brooch has an arched bow (broken approximately half way along) and a rounded terminal, which has traces of a ring-and-dot decoration. The reverse of the terminal has a broken loop which would have held the pin. The copper alloy has corroded to a reddish-brown colour.
