Description
English: March 25, 1886 Chihuahua, Naiche and Geronimo discussed their possible surrender with General Crook. However, the cost of peace is sometimes too great. Passion, fear, rumors of awaiting execution, slow correspondence and many more factors lead Geronimo, Naiche and 33 other Apaches to flee into the Sonoran Mountains several days later. During the next 5 months over 5,000 soldiers gathered to pursue this small group of people.
