English: 17th century Pikeman armour body armour- breast plate and back plate with helmet .1 helmet- beaten steel; with peak and lobster-tail neck protection; wing nut at frontsteel; black finish; breastplate is 'peaked' at centre; has two hooks for fixing leather-backed iron-linked shoulder straps; back plate has leather belt fixed to sides to secure breastplate; iron shoulder straps; tasset - one piece thigh protectors riveted to and hinged from breast plate (all one piece) Note- leather not original
