Cadoele (Kadoelen) Binnensdijks Anno 1726

Cadoele dese buurt behoord onder Schellingwoude, en is aan de hogen dijk in Waterland gelegen: al waar men algemens overgang heeft voor de dorpen Landsmeer: de buurten Den Ilp: en Purmerland: en is binnen slands een vermakelyke landstreek: de kerk die hier vertoont word: is de kerk van buyksloot (Buiksloot) die men van binnensdeyks al dus siet, even over den dyk is een kleyn doch droog meertie nu een grasige wyde, en voert de naam van overschie na de eygenaar daar van (eigenaar is François Overschie en diens kinderen tot 1729, nu heet de polder Wilmkebreek): het land van dit meertye loopt tot aan de Oostzaner overtoom (nu Oostzanerwerf) daar binnen staat een watermolen om het altyt droog te houden.
