Fürchterliches Attentat auf die Person Ludwig Philipp’s, Königs der Franzosen u: seiner Familie in Paris, durch eine Höllenmaschine, den 28ten Juli 1835.
Der König inspicirte, umgeben von den Prinzen des Hauses, seinen Marschällen und Adjutanten, die Nationalgarde. Plötzlich öffnet sich im 2ten Stocke eines Hauses der Laden und eine Maschine mit 25 Feuerschlünden schleudert Tod und Verderben unter die Gruppe. Ueber 30 Personen dicht neben dem Könige fallen, der Marschall Mortier, mehrere Generale u. Adjutanten sind unter den Gemordeten – der König aber u. die Prinzen sind wunderbar gerettet.
Das Ungeheuer, der Erfinder des teuflischen Instruments, Gerard, selbst verwundet, wurde ergriffen.
