Summary[edit]

Description Concrete placement on the control structure of the Folsom Dam auxiliary spillway is 80% complete. Later this year, construction teams will begin installing the massive gates of the control structure. The six submerged radial arm Tainter gates will control the flow of water in the spillway and the six bulkhead gates will be used to perform maintenance on the Tainter gates.
