English: A thick, twisted flake of triangular section in brown flint with coarse cream brown inclusions. The thick margin has been reduced in width by bold abrupt blunting retouch but becoming finer and sharper as it approaches the distal tip. The opposite margin is thinner and has a notch to reduce the width of the plan and then fine retouch to the tip.Butler(2005) illustrates awls and piercers on page 169, fig 71, 1-4.
