Description
English: An incomplete Bronze Age copper-alloy tracer awl, now worn.

It is broad and sub square in section. One end has a damaged but otherwise complete flattened rectangular chisel head. The other is pointed with a circular cross section. It has a medium to dark green patina.

This tracer awl measures 52.31mm in length, 5.71mm in width, 5.07mm in thickness, 4.56g in weight.

There are similar examples from Suffolk (Pendleton, 1999, fig. 42, no. 143) (Rowlands, 1976, no. 1178).
