Title |
Awl (possibly) |
||
Description |
English: A cast copper alloy object which could be an awl.
The object is formed from a square sectioned strip of copper alloy. The strip has been hammered flat on one terminal; the other terminal has a rounded section. They taper down from the central block (with square section) to the terminals. The metal is a mid greyish-green colour and is slightly pitted. This could be Bronze Age in date, but is more likely to be much later in date. |
