Description
Norsk nynorsk: Bøyaøyri naturreservat ligg i Fjærland i Sogndal kommune i Sogn og Fjordane. Her er det til saman registrert om lag 100 ulike fugleartar, og av desse er 40 – 50 heilt eller delvis avhengige av våtmarksområde for å finne næring. Gråhegren og andefuglar som stokkand, krikkand og brunnakke; og vadarar som tjeld, fjøreplytt, myrsnipe og brushane treng våtmark for å finne føde. For ande- og vadefuglar er Bøyaøyri viktig som rasteplass under vår- og hausttrekka, men òg som overvintringsområde. Stokkand, krikkand og siland hekkar år om anna på Bøyaøyri.
