Description

Linx BBQ, what a name for a 烧腊店 Chinese barbecue and roasts shop! But their BBQ chicken thighs and BBQ pork was beckoning to use with the glistening caramel crust and burnt edges. How could we resist!

I also spied a few old-hands making 叉烧包 BBQ Pork Buns / Char Siew Bao in the open kitchen, and sure enough, the filling was very good. Too bad they didn't make the fluffy bun thicker to match the savoury sweet filling. I also tried some 烧卖 Siew Mai pork dumplings and while the shrimp topping was fresh, the pork filling beneath was rather fatty and minced the mushy side of fine.
