English:

A copper-alloy fragment of a possible penannular bangle, possibly medieval in date (c AD 410-1450).

The bracelet is D-shaped in plan with curved edges, narrowing at both ends.The terminals end abruptly and are not neatly finished, which leaves some doubt to the identification.

The object is patinated a dark green colour with numerous brown patches and is undecorated. It is approximately 60.72mm in diameter, 5.47mm thick and weighs 40.1g. It is 13.43mm at its widest tapering to 8.37mm and 7.27mm at its terminals.
