Historic town houses in the old town of Bad Laasphe in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany)

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Bad Laasphe in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) has a well-preserved historic town center, in which numerous buildings are listed monuments. The town was founded in the early 13th century as the residence town of the county of Wittgenstein. In 1506, a great fire destroyed all the wooden buildings. The half-timbered buildings preserved today date from the early modern period, especially from the Baroque period.
